AprilComputer Literacy Center and Smart Classroom Launched at Punduria Govt. Primary School, Pabna

CLP Bangladesh has inaugurated a Computer Literacy Center (CLC) and a Smart Classroom (SCR) at 36 No. Punduria Government Primary School in Santhia, Pabna, with support from Hironmoy Sikdar. A prior assessment revealed limited ICT resources despite over 800 students, prompting the initiative.
The CLC now provides computers, internet access, and a 40-hour training program for 30–50 students annually, while the SCR introduces smart technology to enhance classroom learning for around 150–200 students each year. Teacher training is also being provided to ensure effective use of these facilities.
This initiative aims to strengthen digital education and create long-term learning opportunities for students in the region.

The initiative addresses the school’s lack of digital resources and will provide basic computer training to around 200 students annually, while the Smart Classroom will benefit 150–200 students through interactive learning in English and Mathematics. This effort marks a significant step in promoting digital education and enhancing learning outcomes.
